Battle Hymn

No picture here. With the election upon us I felt that this was an appropriate time to share this.

This is amazing to think this is performed by children.

Get a load of these high school kids. At the conclusion listen to the high notes on the trumpet played by a high school kid! One of the fathers recorded it, added some graphic enhancements to the recording, and posted it on the web.
The song, of course, is the ' Battle Hymn Of The Republic.' Be prepared . . . it will definitely send a few shivers up your spine.

Big News! An addition to the family

It's a boy!

Ha!

It's not what you may think. I am not expecting baby number 7.

We have however gained a new kitty. Making us a family of four cats, three dogs, 5 goats with two mamas expecting any day now and several crazy chickens! All outside, mind you! I shiver to think what a zoo I would really run with animals and children inside this house.

ok - so he did come in for a while when he first arrived.
I think he's cute!

I love kittens. But like children they grow way to fast.
